SLEEPING BEAUTY

Scene 1

Long ago there were a king and queen that always wished of having a child for years.

One night King and Queen were walking in the garden of Palace.

Queen              : Dad, I hope we have a baby

(Staring at the stars then winking to the King)

King                : (looking at his wife and smile)

                        I know what you are thinking, naughty girl…

Let’s making it!

Scene 2

At last they had a baby girl. The king and the queen were so happy, and made a great feast then. King and Queen invited all the people in the kingdom, but one. She was spiteful fairy who hadn’t been invited by the King in the celebration of the birth of his daughter.

Daylight, In the middle of guests, the King raises his hand proudly,

King                : Thanks for your coming. In this beautiful day I wanna celebrate my first baby’s birth in this party.

                        (He smiles to everyone and the guests are clapping)

Suddenly, the door is opened. All of the people silence and look at the woman who stands in the door.

Uglyane           : Wahahahaha (loud of laugh)

Good morning. Ah, very great feast! Your majesty…

Why didn’t you invite me, huh?? (Angry)

Uglyane           : (looking at the baby and laugh again)

Oh . . . is baby girl . . .

(Staring at the King and then coming close the baby)

Queen              : Don’t touch my baby!!

(Screaming and stand beside her baby)

                        If you touch a little piece of her, I’ll kill you!!

Uglyane           : Oh… Actually, I want to give her a little kiss

(With sad expression, looking at the Queen)

But, you didn’t allow me to kiss her. Now, I’ll curse her!!! (Loud)

King, Queen, Fairies, and others shock. One of fairies asks Uglyane,

Fairy                : uhum, pardon me… what curses do you like, any way?

Uglyane           : (thinking a minute)

                        I’ll curse her to be an Ogre!!! (Laugh proudly)

Fairy                : What? Hey hey, its The Shrek movie, isn’t it?

Uglyane           : Oh… yeah, that’s right… So … ?

Fairy                : What about making her death?

Everyone shocks again, then whispers to each others.

King                : What have you said? (Angry, staring at the fairy)

Fairy                : Ups, peace bro, peace… (Feeling fear but smiling at the king)

Uglyane           : O oo, I’m sorry to say this but, I don’t graduate from curse courses yet … (Sad)

Queen              : Wait, I’ve a good idea (smiling, coming close to Uglyane)

                        Why don’t you make her fall asleep for many years?

King                : Ah, and she will be woken up by a love kiss of a prince charming, how its sound?

Queen              : It is brilliant!

King                : So sweet, honey

Fairy                : Romantic!

Uglyane           : Not bad

King, Queen, and Fairy then stare at Uglyane.

Uglyane           : Okay okay, deal.

                        (Grumbling peculiar words that spellbound and then saying…)

Here I announce that I curse Princess Aurora to fall asleep by pricking her hand with spindle in her 17^th birthday!! Wahahahaha

(laugh of loud)

Uglyane leaves the crowded beastly.

Scene 3

In early morning at the seventeenth Princess’ birthday, Aurora’s room

KRIING…KRIIING… Aurora’ alarm mobile awakes her. She wakes up and checks her schedule.

Aurora             : Oh my God! It’s my 17^th birthday! Its means today is my curse day!!

(Aurora’ mobile is ringing)

Oh, message from granny… she is waiting me in the old tower

Okay granny, I coming!!

(Replaying the message and then running happily)

Scene 4

Old tower, she sees the granny with her spindle. The princess is curious what a thing because she never saw it before.

Aurora             : Morning granny. (Smiling at the granny)

                        What are we going to do?

Granny                        : So easy, dear. Please, give me your hand (smiling)

Granny will prick Aurora’s hand with needle.

Aurora             : Oh, granny, what will you do?

Granny                        : So simple. I just wanna prick this tiny needle to your finger

Aurora             : D-DD-Does it hurt?

Granny                        : Just a little bit, honey. You’re gonna be okay, trust me …

Aurora             : N-N-No it must hurt. No … (Pulling her hand back)

Granny                        : Come on, dear. Don’t you wanna meet your prince charming, huh?

(Flirtatious face)

Aurora             : (Her face turning bright)

Yeah, you’re right. I have to see my prince…

I wanna know what he looks like. I wanna know whether he is handsome or noooooot…

Granny pricks the needle to Aurora’s finger, and said…

Granny                        : Waiting you speech?? What a boring thing!

                        Have a nice dream, Princess… (Smiling)

Aurora body’s become weak and fall asleep deeply

Scene 5

One hundred years later, a brave prince comes to Palace to find the legend, Sleeping Beauty. Finally, he finds the princess. He bends down beside and will give the princess a kiss of love. Before he does it, he opens the veil which covers Aurora’s face.

Aurora’s room,

Florimond       : Oh no!?! So scary! Run!!!!

(Florimond will run away, but…)

Aurora             : (Opening her eyes and holding Florimond’s clothes)

Where will you go, my Prince??

Please, give me your love kiss, honey…come here…

Florimond       : Anybody help meeee……!!!!!! (Running)

           

Actually, Uglyane did a very big mistake. She didn’t curse Aurora to sleep for many years. The case is, she couldn’t differentiate which spell for making someone sleep and which was changing the sex! Aurora was a man. Now, she chases Prince Florimond. And in the end of this story, we don’t know they live happy ever after or not!
